What do you do when your Government is out of control? There’s a line in the sand. Cross it, and you're not just eroding democracy, you're burning the bridge back to legitimacy. This government, under the bullshit vacuous guise of 'security' has taken a sledgehammer to that line by classifying direct action as terrorism. And let’s be clear: direct action is not and never has been terrorism. Not under UK law, not under international law, and certainly not in the moral lexicon of any free society.
This is coming out on Thursday night as our cowardly Government will proscribe PA tomorrow.
From the Suffragettes who this shower of shit were happy to honour to the miners’ strikes, direct action is the blood and bone of democratic change. You didn’t get votes for women by politely writing to your MP. No doubt Yvette Cooper would have given the Pankhursts 14 years a piece as Palrliament bleated in approval. You don’t challenge apartheid by waiting for a green light. You occupy. You disrupt. You defy. That is the fucking point of protest: to make injustice impossible to ignore. But now, under the watch of a moribund government that seems more interested in supporting war crimes in a Foreign country than protecting its own constituents: even splashing red paint on a plane implicated in genocide or blockading an Elbit drone site gets you branded an 'extremist'.
Meanwhile, our fucked up piece of shit Government arms Israel to the teeth as it razes Gaza and slaughters civilians. Who exactly are the real fucking extremists here?
Let’s stop pretending Britain has an independent foreign policy. Thanks to a number of powerful and well funded Israeli lobby groups the UK is now little more than a diplomatic sock puppet for Israel’s apartheid regime with a Prime Minister weasling 'Israel has the right to defend itself' on a fucking loop. From the Foreign Office to the Labour front bench, the moral compass has been melted down and recast in the image of Netanyahu, Likud and the monstrous apparatus of the Israeli State. Criticise that and you’re called an antisemite. That used to mean something. Now it's a busted flush: slow hand clap for that and fuck you all. So here's the thing you fuckers won't say out loud: the truth is not antisemitic. By weaponising it, you are.
It's not antisemitism when decent Jewish voices oppose it too. It's not antisemitism when honourable Jews stand side by side with everyone else to call out the actions of Israel. And as for those shouty Israeli talking heads who bullshit and gaslight unchallenged on our media: who the fuck do Israel think they are to interfere with and corrupt our nation. Go fuck yourself you fucking murderous Kapo's
So lets call it what it is: vassalage. Our Government has surrendered our sovereignty to a foreign power. Britain, the supposedly sovereign state, has outsourced its conscience to the fucking Knesset. We no longer just tolerate apartheid: we fund it, arm it, embrace it, lie for it and jail those who dare to resist it. The whole thing is rotten to the core and we should call donations from the Israel lobby exactly what are: blood money and hush money. And these cunts are swimming in it.
And don’t think for one second this ends with Palestine. The tools of repression honed on pro-Palestine activists will be used tomorrow on climate activists, trade unionists, and anyone else who dares upset the balance of corporate power.
What they’re building is a regime of soft fascism: polite, bureaucratic, and devastatingly effective.
Our Government is sick. It has chosen this path. It has made a choice of abuse over leadership and corruption over the rule of law. Well here's an interesting thing about the law - the law is not sacred. Law is not immutable. Law is an agreement, and that agreement only stands as long as it retains the consent of the people. Parliament is only sovereign if we allow it to be. When laws shield warmongers and jail whistleblowers, when they brand peaceful resistance as terrorism and reward arms dealers with knighthoods, they lose all legitimacy. In such times, not only is it justified to resist: it is obligatory. We do not owe obedience to a system that jails the righteous and protects the genocidal. We do not owe respect to a Parliament that bows more readily to Ambassador Tzipi fucking Livni than to its own electorate. We owe only our solidarity to those who resist: the direct actionists, the organisers, the saboteurs of war machines. Our Government has blood on their hands and cowardice in its spine. And every time a British-made missile turns a Gazan child into ash, the law that facilitated it dies a little more.
And our Government have worked hard to earn their day in the dock in the Hague next to Netanyahu and Ben-Gvir. I sincerely hope the ICC are on top of their game here and hope it gets televised.
These cunts want you to fear the word terrorist. They want you to flinch when you hear resistance. They want you to bow your head and know your place. Well fuck them all, we won't be silenced and history doesn’t belong to those who play it safe. It belongs to those who fight. Every injustice has been fought and every right has never been given it has been taken. And when they criminalise resistance, they don't stop the struggle, they harden it and they just prove how afraid they are of it.
And they fucking should be.
