9th May 25 - Pope Leo XIV is the first English speaking Pope since the 12th Century and the first Pope born in the US. He's already ruffling MAGA feathers and getting up Trumps nose. I don't think I'll agree with him on everything but I think I like him.

8th May 25 - The 80th anniversary of VE Day (victory in Europe) where Britain and the world stood up to Fascism and prevailed. I wonder what those who fell in the fight would think about us 80 years later putting the bastard children of Oswald Mosley into power.

8th May 25 - India, Pakistan and China: all nuclear powers, are once again at each others throats. The world is a powder keg. Could this be the catalyst that thrown it over the edge?
